Human-Centric leadership cultivates clarity in chaos and creates meaning

Here, we speak with three more industry leaders: Emily Nugent is an award winning lawyer in the San Francisco Bay Area. Jay Trambadia is a Clinical Psychologist who empowers leaders and guides them through change. Ian is an Organizational Psychologist and stoked.live Co-founder with a resume that spans Fortune 500 companies, NREL, and international organizations.

All three create an image of what it’s like to lead. Over the years they have shown the courage to listen to their teams, to explain the “why,” and to hold steady through each wave of complexity. They all show us that we all need to feel safe to speak, to be inspired by a purpose and to trust each other. That’s when we thrive and are stoked to go to work each day.

Emily begins by describing the absence of open communication common in workplaces. She explains how easy it is to drift into an everyday world that stifles dissent and our problems are ignored.

Jay expresses what we all feel. That’s the need to understand the “why” behind our work. He also shows us that having a purpose, autonomy and ownership of our work creates proactive team members.

Ian brings it home. He focuses on the role of the Executive and how the load – from all directions – bears its weight on each leader. Handling this load with Executive Coaching is vital for clarity, focus and strategic prioritization.
